View Full Version : Door seal pressure...

I've been fixing up the interior door panels today, and there seems to be almost no pressure against the bottom of the door seals.
Plenty of pressure on the top, which would be good for wind noise, but along the bottom the door was pushing the seal in between 1 to 3mm along the bottom of the doors- which I imagine wouldn't stop much water. ...

I managed to adjust all the doors so that along the bottom the door is pushing lightly on the inner part of the seal, and it feels a lot better.

My doors havn't been of before either, so maybe that's how they were set up at Solihull.

Do the panels still look straight now you've adjusted them?

The front wing is only a tiny bit out, the rest is perfect.

To get the right door closing pressure I've had to loosen the pressure on the top of the doors. But there isn't any wind noise.
Twas just reading the fraser Island condition report... glad I adjusted them now!

Seems like you're in for another twisty Kiethy!

That's the go! Good that it worked out for you!

Yeah, would you believe that this time last year I went on a two-night camping trip and ended up camping in the cyclone (unbeknown to me at the time). Tomorrow I'm headed to the exact same place for two nights... I wonder if im being stalked by cyclones!

Cheers
