Thanks Andy

A few interesting things in there.....such as the belt only getting replaced every 322,000 kms.

Monty decided it was time for a change of his own after only 120,000.

Still these things happen. It's good to know what Land Rover suggest all these mechanics should be doing when servicing the vehicle.

You probably need to be a Subscriber, it details the A & B service cycle for a Puma, plus the other variables like arduous use.

Thanks for the service info list.

I have my 130 2.4 Puma in for a service at the moment after the last EDJITS Desert trip. He calls me today to tell me the oil in the front diff looks fine but the rear diff and transfer case looks very dirty.

He was not sure why but said the rear obviously does more work - climbing dunes etc and being in low range for nearly two weeks may have contributed.

He also said the fuel filter had been damaged and was leaking fuel. I had a look on my driveway and there is no sign of leaking fuel. Can't see this happening driving 5klms to his workshop.

Any input or comments would be appreciated.
