Hi guys,
My fuel tank breather hose, the one about 20mm in diameter that connects back to the filler neck, has split. I was hoping some one could tell me the internal diameter so I could buy some replace pipe?
Also if any one has a recommendation as to what type of hose to buy. As the factory one imo has perished a bit prematurely, care is a 2009 model, would be appreciated?
Cheers
Darren

I guess I must be the first person to replace this pipe.
Update so far. Found a site on the web that said it was 19mm. Off to the local auto shop, 19mm is not a common size for fuel hose, was recommended a truck repairer nearby who had some. BUT, which I think is due the type of fuel hose that I had, I could not get it over the plastic "barb" thing. So I am back to trying to locate some hose that would suit - with no luck so far. But I'll keep trying.

I need to replace the one on my 09 as that is showing signs of fatigue.
Be interested in what you find.

I too went to a truck parts place and rummaged around until I found hose that fitted. From memory I couldn't replace the exact size and went with the closest and an extra half-turn of the hose clamp. Been in situ for over 12 months and no signs of leaking.
Truck parts places will offer you, possibly, a wider selection than a repco or Supercrap. The alternative is approach Enzed or Pirtek for fuel grade hose. Call them first to check if they stock fuel grade hose. It might avoid an unnecessary trip.

I had mine (2010 Puma) go a couple of months back and until the aux tank had nearly emptied fuel would have kept peeing out. So I emptied it by taking the hose of the bottom and then got Darren from Aztech 4x4 in Rivervale WA to fix it for me. He used hose which was red in colour and said that it would out last the vehicle.
Maybe if you rang him he could advise you what he used exactly.
Seems like this is another bit of Ford/LR cost cutting.

3/4” fuel rated silicone hose works
I vaguely recall I ordered online
Something like this
HPS 3/4" FKM Lined High Temperature Reinforced Silicone Hose Black fuel oil resistant viton fluorocarbon fluorolined 19mm - HPS Performance Products (https://hpsperformanceproducts.com/products/hps-3-4-inch-19mm-fkm-lined-silicone-hose-viton-fluorocarbon-fuel-resistant-black-blue)
