no petrol or gas, no start

Hi all, I have a 95 D1 3.9 auto, went to start it this morning and no go, when switched to gas the switch panel lights come on and can hear the solenoid bot after a couple of seconds lights out, same with petrol when switched over turn on ignition we have lights and can hear fuel pump and again after a couple of seconds lights out, can hear one of the relays in the footwell clicking at the same time changed it but made no difference, hoping that I might get some answers from more knowledgeable people hence the post. Probably the ignition module has failed. The injection system and the gas won't run unless the ignition is working. Checked for spark yet? I usually replace the OEM Lucas module with a locally sourced Bosch module.
