Hi all,

after owning a RRC, a D3 a few years back the wife wanted another Disco but this time to pull the horse float which usually the Wrangler does. We shopped around for a while and picked up a 2004 gold TD5 auto for just over $10K after some haggling. Full service history, log books and services every year for the last 10 years, no underbody scrapes or damage, lost of dust so i would way a tow vehicle for a caravan but no anderson plug though.

Pretty good nick with only some cosmetic things to attend too. Will replace the factory shocks and springs as they look like the original ones and its done 212000Km's. Noticed a bit of sag with the float attached and will hook it up next to the camper trailer as well.

Well after a few months I have done the following based on failure/faults;

1. Engine Mounts.
2. Harmonic Balancer.
3. Brake Switch under pedal.
4. 2 radiator leaks/holes.
5. xyz selector switch for the auto.
6. had the 3 amigos on and off and changed the battery to a yellow top optima and so far no other issues.
7. Just ordered the starter motor solenoid contact repair kit to fix next week as now have starting issues.

Apart from that its awesome and get over 800 km's for a tank:)
