Thanks for that Bob, I've suffered from emphysema for many years caused by a genetic condition called Alpha One Antitrypsin Deficiency.
I am currently in the hands of a Transplant Surgeon as that is the next step so might mention this to him and see what he thinks.
Won't cure it but might buy some more time.

I hope it does, mate. I haven't heard of this procedure, so know nothing about it, would be interested to hear what your surgeon thinks, as I have a mate with emphysema . All the best, Bob
