How many people have been told that the Sawtooths are currently to available on a new order?

I ordered mine in December (only a few weeks away now), and was told it'd be a longer wait with the sawtooths. Not sure what the situation is now if trying to order

Same, Austral in Brisbane said they're in short supply when I put down a deposit on a D90 in Feb.

Hey Tim, in your sig is that what you've ordered or got? If so do you have a picture, that's same scheme I got the 110 in on order.

Seems the LRA no Swa's yet is true.

Just have to get the same OEM hat half the price then...

I ordered my 110 in Oct/Nov, and was told I could get delivery in Feb if I ordered the dual alloys, but would have to wait until May if I wanted the black sawtooths.

I went with the sawtooths and she's currently on the big cargo ship steaming its way across the Great Aust Bight, having left Freo after its sail from Port Elizabeth (yep - I've been tracking it on a link the dealer sent me ).

It's been a long wait, but with Corris Grey and black bits & pieces, I'm sure the wait will be worth it.

Hi Wheatos, please post some photos of your new 110 when it arrives. I would love to see the difference between Corris Grey and Orkney Grey. I have as yet been unsuccessful in seeing Corris Grey close up, and have heard varying descriptions when it comes to the two colours.

I'm sure that your colour combo with the sawtooths will look brilliant!

Just picked it up last Saturday. I'll put some pictures up very soon and create a thread in Member's Rides.

That's what I'll be working towards - Corris Grey with black. I currently have the Dual Finish alloys on eBay and will get some black wheels and add black Defender lettering. I've also just taken off the alloy checker plate from the side steps to get a black powder coat.

I will indeed Orkney. I was very keen on the Orkney grey as it was not as dark as the Corris, but I had no choice as it was no longer available. With what I have ordered with it, I'm really excited and can't wait.

In one of my 4 million trips to various LR dealers to spy on Deefers (I've concluded salesmen are only interested in Disco and Rangie tyre kickers, as I was never offered assistance - which I was completely fine with during research stage), I found this display cabinet showing the different colours. A great reference point.

Thanks Wheatos. That colour display thing is excellent, didn't see one the last time I was at a dealer. The Corris Grey certainly seens quite a bit darker than Orkney, but that will probably work well with the black sawtooths. And you're right about the salesmen. The phoney smiles quickly turn to bewildered frowns when I used to mention that I am interested in the Defender rather than the Disco or Rangie.

Crikey, Our buying experience was totally different.
Never been into a JLR Dealership before buying our 90 a year or so ago, & was a bit nervous when we entered ULR's showroom in Malvern, to be confronted with lots of shiny Jaguars, Range Rovers etc.
But as soon as we mentioned that we were interested in a Defender, the saleslady smiled & said "Oh Good, We love our Defenders". And the delivery process was good too, we were VERY impressed.

The Tombarra? Mines on there too if that's the one you're talking about. I've got a 110 coming in Santorini black, white roof, and sawtooths. Can't wait

I'm guessing you got a similar response to when we went to MLR and spoke to Penny

Yes Landie! The big orange Tombarra. That thing actually moves more quickly than I imagined.

My 110 is Corris Grey (full body), black sawtooth's, black side runners (dealer fit), black bumperettes (Mulgo), Rijidij spare wheel carrier, Frontrunner roof rack, tinted windows (dealer),7 seats - premium with contrast leather (ebony/lunar), ebony headliner and the santorini black fascia.

I'm taking an annual leave day to collect it from the dealer - whenever that is. :D

I believe they both have the same owner. We spoke to Gracy.
