If when driving you hear lots of banging and clattering and you suspect your suspension bushes but just cannot pinpoint the noise, replace your bonnet hinge bush inserts. Just did mine today, problem solved. To check if your bonnet hinge bushes, or just one of them, needs replacing just open the bonnet, lift it up and see if there is movement when you move it sideways or up and down. It should just open and close without any play at the hinges. It is a simple and inexpensive solution to a very annoying problem
