Elisabeth gave me a card and chocolate this morning and I thought "What is is this for, it's not my birthday and I don't think it's Father's Day".

Then it dawned on me. I forgot our anniversary - again. :(

Yesterday I gave her some flowers but our anniversary hadn't even entered my mind when I bought them. She thought I had bought them for that reason but as I didn't say anything, she assumed I'd wish her Happy Ann. today. It was not to be.

So I gave her a better present. I went out for the day to Scouse's (as I'd [reviously arranged) and left her alone. She reckons that was a really good present. :p

Anyone got a spare dog house?

Ouch. You'll have to dig deep to come back from that one. Might be lucky and not be spoken to for a week.

Then again, it might not - do you still have the dog house from 8 years ago?

I was lucky - the only time I forgot ours, she did too... We both realised 3 days later.

Cop it on the chin and try not to do it again.

As Scouse has shown with his bloody searching, I'm very likely to forget again.

People are forgetting the most important thing here, Ron, you gave her flowers for no other reason than you care, a much better present than just doing it on your anniversary, which is usually expected from most.

Don't you think:wub:
