Anyone know where I would find the three letter code that identifies the interior colour of my D2a? (e.g. SMS is Alpaca colour).

On the slam panel under the bonnet? That's where it is on my P38A.

The plate probably looks like this:

You can see it here (disregard circles):

Whilst I do have that plaque and it does have the 'TRIM' section. Nothing has been marked, engraved or indented on the plaque under the heading.

I've never seen the trim colour/code marked on that plate on a D2. If you pull off one of the door trims there will be a label on the back of that with the colour/pattern.

Ahh. The P38A has it marked there.

You can get the full build specs of your vehicle by going into an LR site.
I think it was Offtrack who got mine for me a few years ago, but there was no reference to the site name on the JPEGs I have. I also went in a couple of years ago to see if there were any outstanding programs on my car but I have forgotten the site name.
Anyone know where to get the build sheet?

the website to look up outstanding vehicle programs is: Home | TOPIx (http://topix.landrover.jlrext.com/topix/vehicle/lookupForm)

Also is it safe to post you're vin on the net?
I can't see why it wouldn't be, was just wondering , if it is safe could someone please decode mine ? :)

I want to know what colour my interior is
