Holden Red 202 Air-Con.?

G'day all,
I don't know if this has been touched on before but I am pondering if I can fit an air-con. to my Series III red 202 powered Landy.

Is it possible, expensive and even worth it with possible too large body air leaks?
Any input would be great.

You shouldn't have any trouble picking up a compressor and engine brackets to fit the motor. An under dash unit should be easy enough to fit up it the vehicle. If your rig is a 109 wagon the unit will have it's work cut out for it, but it still should make the old girl more comfortable than it is now, on a hot day. If you have a 88" it will be more efficient and if you have a truck cab you may need some woollen jock's!

HZ-VB 202 bracket would be ideal. the big compressor will run anything. plenty of older after market brackets around.


the factory VC-VH 3300 with air international mounting is often copied by the aftermarket suppliers and should fit your early 202 block. and sold with cheep compressors.


the tidy bracket is the style used on 2850 and 3300 12 port heads that mount over the number one spark plug. to use these you need the head and water pump.


defender aftermarket evaporators are around. just need to mount a good condenser.
