I would just like to openly thank Pacemaker (Michael) for all your help with my enquiries about seating space in the defenders, and the confidence in your advice and your efforts to answer my questions.
Today I am now the proud first time owner of a Defender:D
I had been studying the facts of defenders for over 3 months and was unsure off how much space was actually in side one. I know people would say go and have a look for your self, sure that's easy if you live some place where this is possible but unfortunately not all of us have this ability, so with all my research in hand and only photos and film clips on the net, there was one little thing missing that I could not find and this was seating measurements.
My questioned were answered by Pacemaker, he helped me take the plunge into the world of Defender owners , and I made a bold decision to fly from Tasmania to Melbourne to purchase my first defender, I was originally wanting to purchase a 130 Defender duel cab and this would of suited me very well, but i stumbled upon a 110 Defender in very good condition with all the bells and whistles that was to good to go past so l figured with the measurements Pacemaker had given me for the 130 the 110 would be the same if not more .
So i flew to Melbourne after a discussion with the owner over the phone to go and purchase my first Defender, I have never been in or seen a Defender in person before so i was some what nerves on what to expect, all my research, paid off and the Defender 110 was a credit to the previous owner and had exceeded all my expectations, so the deal was done and we were both happy with the results had a beer together, and I now too intend to care for this Defender and keep its condition up for many many years, and would hope that if I ever parted with it the next owner would be as keen and proud to own it as me.
Thanks again Pacemaker (Michael)
Cheers Mick..:D
