A few more:

The next model Yamaha following my first bike. This is a 250cc Yamaha YDS-3. I had a 250cc YDS-2. By God it was unreliable.

And you couldn't get a Honda further removed from the CBX than this - a Honda Monkey 49cc. My son's first bike (he bought it himself when he was about 13) was a Monkey.

Good to see you made it to Birdwood. I love visiting the place.
I hope you went via the Leopard at Echunga and Handorf. Next stop "Maggie Beer's" at Nuriootpa for afternoon tea? At the end of Pheasant Farm Rd. You can sip on your flat whites whilst watching the tortoises just after restocking the pantry with all sorts of wonderful condiments.

Ah! Wish I was there.
