Anyone know the cause when the transfer case light comes on when I brake. This occured after towing and using the sports mode button. The tc light was staying on for a short while as well.

See if your brake lights are out, this can cause the 4wd CDL on the dash.
if so check your fuse 1st then the globes

+1^^^ , classic blown F25 symptom, if F25 is not blown i'll tell you more cos a resistor is involved too on that circuit

Thanks guys. Yes it was a f25. I now have the header brakes working but the bumper brakes wont go. The bulbes all look ok. Had to replace 2 bulbs for the tail lights in the rear as well.

You should double check the brake bulbs to be 100% certain they are good cos the live is on the same circuit with the top one but the earths are separate then if the bulbs are certainly good check for voltage in the holder to see what's missing

Thanks guys. Yes it was a f25. I now have the header brakes working but the bumper brakes wont go. The bulbes all look ok. Had to replace 2 bulbs for the tail lights in the rear as well.

Ha, you just beat me to it Ken,
X2... the switch for the fog lights is on the top LHS dash cluster & only work with the headlights on

Haha is my face red. I Always thought it was a feature for the frontfog lights which I dont have any of : )
