Gday All,
Think these are L/Cruiser size studs, where would you get a set from ?
Don't think a standard bolt shop would have them..

They're the same size as later Commodore studs and can be bought from some trailer parts outlets.

Try Melbourne Trailers, they supplied M14 X 1.5 studs for my hubs for my camper, I got the nuts from BSA Wheels.
A lot of trailer places don't supply M14 X 1.5 studs, instead they will give you 9/16 studs if you ask for Land Cruiser studs, why they think land cruisers are imperial has alway amazed me!!!

All ALKO hubs have imperial studs.
When I asked the ALKO general Manager in OZ why would they do this when LR has been metric since 1977 his reply was.
"We are in the caravan industry not the car industry"
Trailer places will all give you imperial as that is what is in all the ALKO hubs.
Try a car source not a caravan/ trailer source, but be careful if you have ALKO hubs as the holes for the splines may be bigger than the splines on a car stud. Ask me how I know.

I got the same reply, with an extra comment:mad:
"We are in the caravan industry not the car industry, you must have found a niche market then"
To which I replied, yeah it's called the 21th century.

Ean Austral, you haven't said what these are for , but if for 10inch ALKO electric drums, if you try to redrill the drums in a different position, because you want to use mags on your trailer it won't work.
The electric magnets will be much less effective if they travel over holes.
Ask me how I know.

I was having trouble finding a trailer place that would fit them to a braked disc. I could only get 12mm studs. Redback mentioned a trailer place in Melbourne that did it for him and they will supply the braked discs I need with the 14mm studs so all good.
Cheers Ean

There is a place you can get M14 X 1.5 studs, Phil (Discowhite) told me about them, and I got some, but I've lost the info, I'm sure Melbourne Trailers will have them.
