Called into the local supermarket to try and buy something, well talk about packed, shelves were getting bare, the agro-ness in the car park, the idiots on the road on the way down there. It seems tomorrow, Good Friday the world is coming to an end........ Heavens forbid THE SHOPS ARE CLOSED FOR 1 DAY!!!!!!!
What is this world coming to? What will happen when the real end of the world happens? People need to take a chill pill and get a life:mad:

Hey I thought the end of the world was on Saturday, 4th blood moon in series and all that. Do I get to eat all the Easter eggs though?

Same here.

Dunno what those people would do if we went back to shops closing midday Saturday and not opening Sunday.

Back in the 70s & 80s we used to set up a model car race track in the Emu Plains shopping centre car park on Saturday arvo. Couldn't do that now.

Also those days you would use the SC carparks to do practice parking with L platers.
I drove along Frankston - Dandenong road this arvo, 2 desperados were open
The $2 shop in Carrum Downs and a budget Furniture shop in Dandenong.

Have to agree, the local shopping centre here, yesterday afternoon, was a car park. You couldn't move, I would not have been there except I am a bus driver and I had to drive into and out of the centre, several times among the idiots.
There is a sign near the bus stop that says "Stop, give way to buses" and this idiot drives through without stopping and tries to bluff me when I was leaving..........I don't bluff easily, considering a bus is a lot bigger than a car.

So, did I miss the flash while I was asleep or is this a parallel world I'm in?

I wish there was a parallel world..............with no shopping centres. The local centre was even worse today than last Thursday. It's UNBELIEVABLE!!!:o

I can't believe that people go for a day out to..........a shopping centre.

Imagine a family conversation........

Him......what will we do today.
Her......let's go to a shopping centre.
Him.....but, we went to one yesterday.
Her.....lets go to a different one today.
Him....but they all have the same stores.
Her....but they look different.
Him...but, they are closed tomorrow, it's Easter Sunday.
Her....WHAT!!!! Gasp, they can't do that can they????
