just been watching this series whilst doing some of the more mundane crap i have to do from time to time and i have to say i am pretty impressed with the way it is presented...

shame about the nissan tho...

been watching it on netflix...

Agreed. It does a very good job of explaining Australia's geological history to the layperson.

I liked it so much I bought the DVD at the Christmas sales.

In a similar theme, Geoscience Australia also put out a coffee table book "Shaping the Nation" about the same time. For those that are interested it is available as a free pdf or epub download form the ANU Press link below.
