Hi , I've just watched the first 4 episodes of 6 of the BBC drama , The Village . For those that don't know It is set at the outbreak of WW1 in Derbyshire , England . My wife found It quite by mistake on cable tv. So we gave It a go . If you like British period drama , This is at the top end !!.. Jim

Thanks Bob , I will try to find It . If you get a chance to watch the Village I would be interested in your opinion , It has a great cast , John Simm , and Maxine Peake .We picked It from Foxtel BBC extra . I have started to take an interest in WW1 . My Grandad on my dads side was wounded on the Some , My grandmother on my Mums side Father was killed there . plus his brother as well . For many years It was just WW1 , now I'm starting to understand the horrors of that , War !! . Jim ..
