Hi all,
We signed up for the 30 day free trial of 'STAN'. We are 3 days in and have cancelled the trial. What a load of rubbish. Old shows mostly that where crap when they were new and not much new stuff worth watching IMHO.
I don't know what's happening with Aussie TV recently but I can see why illegal downloading is so popular.
your thoughts?

Foxtel have deals and offer people trials, the local post office operator tells me he gets heaps of people returning the equipment after the trial is finished. They reckon its crap too.
Why would people want to be stuck inside in front of the idiot box when they should get a life and veture out into the sunshine and fresh air more.

Have Fetch & Netflix. Both are good, but I wish Netflix had a larger movie catalogue...

One of our sons has Netflix and it seems very good value for money with lots of recent movies. I bet it has Foxtell very worried.
Internet TV will rapidly kill off free to air I predict, like internet ads are killing print advertising.

Use my PVR for convenience .
Can record FTA (Free To Air) at any time ( legally for personal viewing ) and the remote makes short work of the adds .
But I must say the reality shows do **** me off though , to much more of these then I might look at Netflix .

We couldn't use any of these, even if we wanted too, our internet is only ADSL, no Broadband, no cable, not even ADSL2 here, cable gets to 2 houses from us and makes a left:twisted:

ADSL1 in Yass and Netflix works just fine, can you tell when I set it up? My girls have been giving it a pretty good run......
