Hi All,
The front radius arm bushes on my '86 Isuzu 110 are coming to end of life and I'm thinking of getting one of the full Super Pro kits that I will use to replace everything over with time.
My front springs are LRA Purple Orange (220/15.5) and my rear springs are Yellow Orange (270/16.8).. It is supposed to be a 40-50mm lift, although I don't have a standard 110 with new standard springs to measure and compare. Without the winch I found the steering to be skittish and darty, typical of of an overly lifted Defender.. however with the winch and bar fitted it is better (I have no intention of removing them).
I feels like i'm at the boarder of needing castor correction bushes.. in that "just getting away with it" zone. The winch and bar reduced the height of the chassis at the front by less than 10mm.. I'm replacing the bushes now anyway, so if I did fit the corrected bushes, with only a small lift what affect would it have on the steering? That is - would it over correct the caster? Would it be bad for other components? (drive shaft etc)
Thanks :)
