D4 door mirror broken

I slightly bumped the drivers side door mirror with my shoulder and it broke off completely. I'm guessing it may have copped a knock in a car park and the slight bump was the final straw. It's a 2013 model so I was able to take off the coloured mirror back and perform some race tape repairs but does the whole mirror assembly need replacing or can it be rebuilt with just the broken swivel replaced? Does anyone know the part number for a RH side mirror assembly, my googling has turned up nothing. It's not a retractable or heated mirror, just the standard one..

Judging by the silence here, I'm guessing this is a one off and these mirrors aren't breaking off all the time. From my online searching it looks like the part number is LR041870 and it should cost about $300. I'll confirm with LR tomorrow and update.

It will be a mirror assembly complete. Be sure to quote your VIN as it will knock out "most" of the not required assemblies.

Do you know if the door card needs to be removed to get to the plug or does the window switch pop out of the top of the door card? On second inspection and then looking at topix it does appear the mirror is heated. I hope the complete assembly comes minus the motor and mirror.

You can just pop off the top corner of the door card to replace mirror assembly.

The new assembly will come complete with everything to un-bolt & re-bolt up.
Some come with mirror & some don't.:o
