Ok so the Disco was lifted some time ago and it has a "mild nose down attitude". The lights are pointing down and as I drive a Fred Flintsone version I can't adjust the angle of dangle from the luxury of the cockpit.
The adjustment needs to happen manually at the lights.
What are legal parameters for tilting the lights so as not to dazzle those in front. RAVE is silent on this matter.

Not a lot as far as I am aware. Just make sure the aim is raised evenly for you own interest. 8)

i think from memory 8O 8O
drive up to a flat wall or garage door on flat ground
now mearsure the centre of headlight height on the car
mark the same height on the flat wall
now on low beam adjust the lights to the marked height from 1 meter away
drive back 15ft from wall and put your high beam on
it should drop around 4in from marked line
i think thats right 8O 8O

Hi one_iota, if you have a workshop manual, it should have all the settings and how to set your headlights accordingly.
Cheers.

spot on Ray just looked it up in the Bosch hand book
at 10 MTR distance 10CM below the centreline of head lamp
if you want more distance you can go 5 CM below style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif
