I'm a member of a fishing forum and the members had organised a BBQ meet up and some talks on various fishing techniques relating to our area we fish. ( Western Port)
I have never met any of these guys before.
But on arriving to the BBQ address I was greeted by A D4, a New Rangie, a P38 and another Land Rover. Immediately I knew that if some of these guys drove landies then they are going to be top fellas:)
I wasn't disappoint the guys were all great, I never found out who drove what , not even mentioned that I sell Landy parts. We were there to enjoy the companionship and talk fishing. It was an informative and nice day.:)

What sort of fishing are you doing down there Mario, out of boats, or land based?

I knew this post would get you stirred up with interest Chops, I have heard you like to wet a line.
Boat fishing Westernport.
The guys are absolute guns on most things Westernport, we had a good talk on the King George whiting. These guys consistently get their daily bag when others find it hard going. The talk was very informative and gave good tips.
The Gummy shark info as well as Winter snapper. One thing that's good about that forum ..... not tossers like some other fishing forum that I won't mention.
