So, yesterday was my grand-daughters first birthday.

And, what a better present for a young girl, than her very own D4. Now, it isn't new, as I owned it previously. But, it has very low mileage, and just needed a new battery to get going.

Here is Sophie with her new wheels:

She was having a ball, and although she can't quite reach the go pedal, she had plenty of willing helpers to give her a push start.

However, as the party went on, and the drinks started flowing, she got hold of a cider for herself. Being the typical new Landy owner, she didn't want to get out of her car, so went via the drive-thru.

This is when the problems started. She only had one, but that was obviously more than enough for a young lady. We tried to take her keys off her, but she threw a tantrum, and drove off at break neck speed.

It is unfortunate, but one of the other party guests was not quite quick enough to get out her way, and thus, suffered the wrath of a girl with a big car.

Straight thru him, she went. No stopping to exchange details. No checking to see if he was ok. Eventually, she ran out of fuel, and the long arm of her parents caught up with her.

All in all, we all had a great day, and after an overnight recharge, both the D4, and Little Miss Sophie will be ready to go again.:D

And THAT is why D4 drivers drink Latte. :D

*Disclaimer - No D4's, children, or cider bottles were harmed in the writing of this post. She is already booked in for Melrose next year.

Very funny. Literally LOL funny. She's a natural, operating horn while driving over obstacle.

I want one now, almost as much as I wanted the real thing.

And here I was about to rant that I drive a D2 and drink lattes because it reduces the acidity of the coffee.
