I sketched his portrait while he wasn't looking.

Surprising how word of mouth spreads, I get at least one or two requests for little portraits or figure studies nearly every week.

Little family keepsakes to frame.

Another little one.

Hannah.

Four years old and cute.

The original is hanging on Nan's wall in Sydney.

I dont know if I have posted these before.

These are printed onto 16x14 inch framed canvas, ready to be hung.

They show Renee and Sasha, brother and sister.

Renee died in a car crash in 1990 aged thirteen.
Sasha would be about forty now I guess.

As you can see these are much more than photographs and can be handed down through the years to family members.

Apart from oil paintings, most of my sketches end up on walls or displayed in one form or another.

Cheers.

I have thought a little about it as I could put it on my T shirts but I struggle as I am not an off the cuff cartoonist.

I tried to write a poem years ago but am still struggling to think of the first line !!

I could of course do straight sketches of the Landies and even do a linewash watercolour on them but as far as adding a cute background to make it a cartoon, I have already run out of idea's.

I might have a go in the next few weeks drawing the things anyway without adding backgrounds.
There are so many different models and with the right rego illustrated
they might be worth displaying.

If I done any work for Forum members I would not charge for the work.
Except of course if I was asked to frame it and post.

Cheers.

Lovely work Robert.
As far as series Landie pics go, doesn't need to be a cartoon or even have a background, let the car speak for itself in the same way as your human portraits.
Cheers
