Is this the sort of thing you were talking about Pat ?
This is just the first idea, early days yet.
These could be given simple backgrounds and finished as a linewashed watercolour painting ?
First pic is just pencil to give myself an idea of how to proceed.
I will work on it if you blokes think it worthwhile.
They might look okay when finished and framed or even printed onto stretched canvas and hung, even a T shirt.
Cheers.

Looking good to me Robert. :D
But does the rego number indicate that this particular vehicle used to belong to a peanut farmer.

The number plate looks Pommie, but if it was one of ours it would have been issued in Victoria sometime around the mid 60s.
Love ya work Robert. :)

As an after thought, should the oil be Penrite or something else ?
One would appear black but the good oil would be a dark red colour.
This sort of thing for accuracy needs to be given a lot of thought.
Umm.

Your drawings are fantastic, Robert.
Have you considered doing bespoke drawings of individual cars for their owners? I'm sure there'd be a market.

Yep, I'd pay for someone with your talent Rob to immortalise some of my favourite rides. :)

Have a look at the " can you identify it " thread.
Early days yet, still working it out.
But I will probably do a few requests.
I will shortly post a pic called " PUO-849 " to be scrutinised and see if we are on the right track.
