Red, Blue, heck even kelpies. I love cattle dogs!
Im the proud owner of a 2yo pure red stumpy "Grub". Although he is a stumpy on his papers and both his mum and dad have no tail, he was the only one in the litter to come out with a tail. He goes everywhere with me, and i mean EVERYWHERE! To work everyday, hiking, camping (not in NPs), down the rubbdy dub and when im in the loo. We both love getting as far into the bush as i can legally take a dog and he's never far away from the action.
He got his name not even 5 minutes after i picked him up. He would always get crook in the guts anytime we jumped in the car, pooing peeing and spewing. Hence the name "Grub". Lucky the deefer has no carpet and is pretty easy to hose out :D. Now days he loves it, he would rather sleep in the car than in the house. Maybe its so he doesn't miss out on the next adventure.
He is a legend, and my best mate.
So if you have or have had a cattle dog, share a pic and tell us about him/her!
