I put in a cheapo 7" flip up screen into the standard single DIN hole. Came with GPS, is a DVD player, reverse camera, Bluetooth and I didn't get it but you can get an aerial so you can watch digital TV, plug in AV lines and also a dashboard camera (or wherever else you would like to mount said camera) all for the princely sum of $300. It will even hook up to steering wheel controls if you want to pimp out your deefer, and I read somewhere there is a tyre pressure monitor section.
I have nothing but great things to say about it, and I haven't started to look at it yet but it runs on WinCE 5.0 so it can run hema maps.
The only issue I have with it is it doesn't have the land rover logo as a boot screen option, so you have to use the SD card to manually put it in.
When I mounted mine, I had to cut part of the dash so that it would not face downwards, then I recovered the dash with vinyl to make it look nicer. I also had to open up the wiring channel and the cover for the cig lighter to get it to fit but apart from that happy.
Pictures are attached for you.

I bought this one, but it seems it has gone up a bit!

I also found this one when searching which is another option if you dont want to cut the dash or just dont have the space for it to flip up. Seems it can be up or down though, and removed.

It has the input for a reverse camera from the wiring schematic, but it isn't included in the purchase price. Sadly, also doesn't have LR logo as a default.

I like the way the Raptor one's screen folds down rather than up, which could affect the forward view.
Amazing the functions in them. So that's another item to add to my wish list.
Did you look at the Polaris options?

Folding down works in some instances, but the comfortable position of the gear lever in a defender for me meant I needed it to go up! Having it that way hasn't really affected my vision, and its in the right place for navigation, I am not taking my eyes off the road as much
I didn't look at the Polaris option, wasn't interested in a double din and their flips don't look all that nice IMO.
