Disco II Td5 service intervals

Can somebody tell me please what the right period for oil chnges and filters etc is for my disco td5.
I've been told that it should be done every 5000 k's, this seems a bit excessive since i run up about 4000 per month. Would 10,000 be ok?

if you lived in a dusty environment i'd say do it sooner but around town its fine

The TD5 manual say 20,000. However, most people fall into the category of strenous use which is 10,000. That seems to work for most, including me who is just about to kit 40,000 after 14 months.

Hi All
I replace the rotary and the full flow filter every 10000Ks and use a fully synthetic oil eg shell ultra a little more expensive.
