Gday All,

Recently purchased these from another forum member , and decided to fit them last night. Followed the instructions, and maybe I was being a bit timid, but really struggled to get the first one off the sensor arm, tried the screwdriver and some lubrication but still never succeeded.

I ended up getting a set of right angle circlip pliers out of the toolkit and the rest was a piece of cake. they slid down either side of the lug the rubber was on, held the sensor arm in 1 hand and a steady pull on the pliers and it came off easy.

Job done now just need to find the time to take the car out and test them out.

Cheers Ean

The OEM rods are more difficult to disengage than the GOE rods. Your future changes will be easier.

Remember that the car may still drop when turned off, asleep and doors are open. Don't put your arm or worse your head anywhere that could leave you trapped or crushed when the suspension drops unexpectedly.

Yeh, the rods seem like they will be very easy, but the originals were a struggle to remove , that's why I posted about how I removed them which may be an easier option for others.

Thanks for the tip about the possibility of the suspension dropping.

Ean,

I spray some dry lube on the rods every time I take them on and off and it makes it a lot easier!

Scott.
