Good afternoon all.
Apologies as I know this has been done to death but I find all the posts somewhat confusing.
I have the HK system in my D4 2011 SE - I am wanting to replace my stereo so that I can direct bluetooth music, GPS and have a reversing camera. I want to do this and retain my current inboard and steering wheel controls. So replace the screen component, have the extra's and keep the current controls.
In simple terms, has this been done, can it be done and if so how?

So far - only one version in Australia has been done.. A replacement screen... And it comes with a WinCE OS.
It's not bad....
I was working on an Alpine based unit but have run into some code issues..

Cheers Tombie
I'll look into it. Its a pain when my wifes Hyundai has this and I dont. Would have thought there'd be an easy replacement or upgrade by now.
There is a Sunshine Coast auto-electric that advertise something. I'll see what they say and get back to the forum.

Found this if it helps someone - no connections, only declared interests is they did some work for me years ago - > 10yrs at a guess. Great service then.
Range Rover Sport 2010 or Land Rover Discovery 4 add a reverse camera or Video image on factory screen | Maroochy Car Sound (http://www.maroochycarsound.com.au/articles/range-rover-sport-2010-or-land-rover-discovery-4-add-reverse-camera-or-video-image-factory)
And the email I received back - nice & quickly I must say.
I have a 2011 Land rover D4 and am interested in your reverse camera module installation. A few questions please -
Does this allow blue tooth streaming for music? (current model has phone blue toothing but not music)
No, Reverse Camera interfaces are only for Camera's they have no correlation to Bluetooth.
A replacement Bluetooth Module may be available subject to exact vehicle specifications.
Cost of module & installation (I have the reversing sensors but no camera)?
Subject to vehicle, I need more details to confirm if this system can even be completed, Vehicle Spec/Model, Audio System from factory (I know of 4 variations on this vehicle), Nav or No Nav, Screen Size etc.
Does this reverse camera automatically start when reverse is selected or is it a manual selection?
If it is compatible, it will auto select when reverse gear is selected
Cost of camera for back of caravan?
Only Possible on factory screen if vehicle is compatible, generally $900-$1050 to supply & install camera to van subject to camera chosen, van length etc.
If this is inappropriate for the site, please feel free to delete.

Thanks Rambada. That add on is for factory touch screen vehicles.
Base HK systems aren't capable of that upgrade.

Thanks for the info rambada.
I have an MY14 with Meridian touch screen system but no Nav. Does anyone know if the mob you linked (or anyone for that matter) have been able to aftermarket a Nav system? Hema maps on the factory system would be brilliant.

Hi Strydes
My screen size is too small and not a touch screen so end of the line for me. But my understanding is that if you have a touch screen then it should work.
Send them an email, they are very helpful
