Hello Sykes1

I cannot give you a full run down of the types of parts however, I can recommend that the exhaust be channeled so it runs all the way to the rear cross member.

One of my Land Rover Series 3 with a 202 Holden motor has its exhaust coming out towards the end of the back corner of ute cabin on the passenger side. Every now and then when a breeze blows the wrong way the exhaust is blown into the cab. Not nice at all.

I will be getting it changed back to coming out the passenger side of the rear cross member.

Kind Regards
Lionel

You need to be aware that in most if not all states, the exhaust must point either straight back or to the right, and must be behind any window that opens into the passenger area.

Thanks , if I can find a down pipe from a 202 I will have an exhaust made , and direct it through the power take off rear hole, on the rear x member, it's just finding the down pipe at the moment,

G'day,
I was going to run the exhaust through all the pot holes as much as practicals and possible to minimize under body snagging when off road, but my SIII has a sub tank between the last two cross members so that put the brakes on that idea.

My idea was to that the exhaust pipe would be relatively straight apart for ducking under the front cross member. I'd love to see photos when you've completed it.

Nathan.

Just be aware the later 202's had a twin pipe header exhaust manifold.
