Well since I really don't like the way that every bullbar out on the market wants to make my D4 look like my old Nissan Patrol, is there any places in Australia that can supply a discreet winch mount so I can install a winch but keep the elegant look that the D4 has, it is a 3.0 if that makes a difference.

Anywhere you go that requires a winch will soon remove the elegant front end :)
Do a forum search. - I believe there's a few discreet kits out there...

Yeah I know the damage sustained will not get pretty but the bull bars that are available just don't cut it in the looks department, and the mounts I have found don't list the 3.0 and I have found one article that states the intercooler or something else may prevent a 3.0 from having one fitted.

I'm pretty impressed with my EC Bullbar and have a 12K Kgs winch fitted. It's an alloy unpainted bar - took some time for it to grow on me but now really suits my white D4.
As a measure of confidence in the Bullbar - I was towing my camper trailer on a very steep downhill section of dusty road recently. Travelled into a tight bend to find a city car stopped back smack in the middle of the narrow track. Told the wife to brace for impact and did some Moto-X driving to get around the stopped car (On the cliff edge side of the track). We motored up a small berm to gain some additional room and bang! Clipped the car and passed it in a cloud of dust (I was very concerned that the trailer would hit the car and flip us towards the cliff edge).
Got out of the car with some trepidation and was stunned to find that all I had was a rub mark on the rhs of the bullbar and a scratch on the drivers side mirror.
The car came off badly with a substantial dent down the whole side of the car where the bullbar had 'rubbed' and a torn off mirror and door handle.
I can't even image how much damage the D4 would have sustained if I didn't have a bullbar - probably front guard, headlight panels etc......
Just saying!
