Being the Drivers windscreen has a crack greater then 10cm in the field of vision .. the rest should be right (mate) .
Save a bit on towing fees and pay the fine +1 point?
Good thinking .
Still won't happen in the nanny state/ country.
possibly for good reason - but that's beside the point.
Ahhh the old days.- When Men were Men and all the others weren't (whatever the hell that means).

Without analysing the accident, a few years ago my father had a single vehicle accident. Rain, new surface, country road, corner, large drainage trench.

Disco and trailer with straight ahead, smashed through the drainage trench.

Got himself back onto the road, but the disco was pretty badly damaged: bent front diff; all shocks and springs buggered; steering arms bent; front headlight hanging out; both rear panels smashed from the trailer whipping around; and a heap of other cosmetic damage.

He drove back home and on his way the local cop was using the radar gun. The old boy reckons he put the gun down and just starred as he drove past, going slow and slinging him a wave. Think the poor old cop didn't know where to start.

He could have throwing a book or two at him, but, just let it be.
