Questions about electrical installations and flares for 2014 130

Hello,
I'm going to be doing some work to my 130 next weekend and am trying to suss out some issues that I might encounter, so I would appreciate any help if available.
The things that I am trying to do will be wiring up all of my electrical items in one hits specifically an ARB twin motor compressor(under driver's seat), uhf (hopefully mounted in the driver's side of my mud products roof console), driving lights, reversing camera (replacement rear view mirror), reverse lights and traxide headlight combo relay.
Firstly with the electrical stuff can anyone help with the following:
1. The best wiring route from an ex-box/battery box to left hand pillar (factory wiring in my 130 runs up the drivers A pillar);
2. Tips for getting wires from the left and pillar to the cab light cut out in the roof lining (I plan on having a bank of switches installed in the centre DIN cutout of the roof console);
3. Any tips on how to get the dash on passengers side off so I can run cables through the firewall easily.
4. Best pick up point for dash lights for switch back lighting (cigarette point??)
Secondly I am running 285/75R16 tyres on -22 16x8 rims and need to extend my wheel arches as to cover the tyres properly. I am aware of products such as the flatdog arches however I have TJM scrub rails that leave very little room between the factory fitted flares and the scrub rails, as displayed in the photo below.

Does anyone in brisbane have a set of flatdog front flares installed that I can come and have a look at? Or are there any products that would be suitable in this situation or could be modified easily to suit?

[/LIST]3 If you remove the access flap under the 'glove box' you can get to the rubber boot in the bulkhead. There is some sound insulation that pushes out oof the way

I think you'll find the scrub rail constitutes covering the wheel..

Covering the wheel doesn't make the offset legal - just makes it slightly less "Cop Bait" :coplight:

I have a set fitted to a 110, located at Burpengary, if you still want to check one out.

You might get a closer offer, depending on where in Brisbane you're from...

Out of battery/ex box into trans tunnel -> along top of chassis rail to bulkhead -> up bulkhead to top of engine bay -> across to driver's side grommet and through.

2. Tips for getting wires from the left and pillar to the cab light cut out in the roof lining (I plan on having a bank of switches installed in the centre DIN cutout of the roof console);

I have had success just feeding the cable through the top of the pillar enough and reaching through the light cutout. If that fails, an endlessly useful tool is a wire coat hanger that has been unwound until completely straight, then a tight radius bend put onto the very end. You'll find a million uses for it, like this.

Out the box and up passengers side and in.. Grommet can be accessed from the drop panel in passengers side...

Also (Alien will be laughing about now) - There's a grommet in the trans tunnel itself P/S right in the corner where the dash meets..

Unhelpful question for the OP: what brand are your rims?

They are Dynamic Round 8 rims and should be available from most tyre shops. I went with them as they look reasonably close to the factory ones.
