An interesting base for a camper conversion?

2012 Mitsubishi Canter 7/800 FGB71ER45FAC 4x4 18 Seater Bus Auction (0018-7007736) | GraysOnline Australia (http://www.graysonline.com/lot/0018-7007736/motor-vehiclesmotor-cycles/2012-mitsubishi-canter-7-800-fgb71er45fac-4x4-18-seater-bus)

$17K bids as at 7/6/15, seems pretty cheap for a 3 year old truck?

have a look at the service history, a bit dodgy , lots of issues might be a lemon.

Also looking at the other canters, they all have issues in the service history, broken leaf spring, shockers, can't retrieve codes from ECU , fuel issues .

Same engine as Iveco but glad I didn't by one , If your going to go serious off road bear in mind the low range isn't great , no diff locks. and you have to put parabolics on - but at least they have super singles.

but still, can't complain about the price - that bus body is going to be a easy camper conversion.

Hell yes! For $70K personally I'd be looking at a fully converted OKA or starting with an Iveco. I'll just keep on dreaming..........:):):):)

Cheers,
