The cigarette lighter sockets in the FL2 are a bit glitchy when using them with phone chargers. I believe they are larger diameter in the UK. So I have decided to replace them with USB sockets instead. Something like this:
Dual Port 3.1A USB Charger, Panel Surface Mount 12VDC Input | 12VDC Power Supplies | Power Conversion & Transformation | Power Products Electrical | PRODUCTS | MP3616 | Jaycar Electronics (http://www.jaycar.com.au/Power-Products-Electrical/Power-Conversion-%26-Transformation/12VDC-Power-Supplies/Dual-Port-3-1A-USB-Charger,-Panel-Surface-Mount-12VDC-Input/p/MP3616)
Before I go ahead though I would like some ideas on how difficult it is to remove the sockets. Has anyone done it before and is there a guide that I can use?
