swap 03 alloy wheels for 97 steel wheels

Hi Guys, I might be purchasing a 2003 defender with standard issue land rover 16" alloy wheels. I like the look of the traditional steel white wheels. will these be a simple swap over? Nothing else I have to do with axle hub flange etc? Is there a axle hub flange under the plastic hub cap of the alloy rims? thanks from the newbie

The wheels will swap straight over. Not sure what you mean about the hub flange, but the wheels do not play a role in sealing the bearings if that's what you're concerned about. What is behind your alloy wheels is exactly what you see on vehicles with steel rims.

They will fit ,I have a set of '97 steels that I swap when we go away and they fit well. You will need another set of wheel nuts thats all.
