Well I don't know what that little Mitsubishi was, but it made a pretty good fist of doing what the grand machines did!

Yes, when we had those Mitsu L300's Vans in Telecom they were absolute crap. (The L200 aka Triton Ute started out on much the same platform.) I was pretty impressed with how they went in the video too, and totally impressed that they hadn't blown up or rusted out by now , it must have been 25 years since Telecom had them and the engines only lasted about 20.000km with the typical Telecom Apprentice driving. Perhaps those old vans keep going with Triton parts ??

I also thought that none of those vehicles had especially good articulation. I picked this up off the net - showing the articulation on an Oka that dropped a rear wheel into a BIG hole.

Tho I'm happy with the factory suspension on my Iveco they do seem to lift the front wheel easily. I'm putting some higher front upper shocker mounts on one and longer front coil-over shocks from EVA to help keep the wheels on the ground.

That said the climbing ability does not seem to be hindered.

Yes, I noticed that. Very impressive!
