I decided to do something with my fuzzy looking A pillar trims . I have sprayed one of them with a product called Plasti Dip . I know that this product can be peeled off if you want to but it is meant to be durable in the mean time . I thought i would trial it and see how it goes , check the before and after pictures out and see what you think . Just a word of caution the fumes from this product are dangerous according to the can , a good chemical mask is advisable when spraying.

I removed the flocking off both A and B pillar trims.

I forgot to mention that i removed the flocking and gave them a light sand before painting.

They look really good, does the can give any clues as to how long the coating can last if you don't peel it off?

You can buy plastic dye and plastic paint in aerosol cans too (VHT). They work quite well if your worried about the plastic coat pealing. I've found the paint will lift over the years on dash bits that have had fingers on them (eg: switches) as the oils from your skin must release from the dash when left in the sun. The dye seems to work best, but doesn't give you a "textured" look to hide damage.

That would look really nice with a head lining re-cover in black.
Did/will you do your grab handles and lights?

I am only doing the A pillars at the moment to see how it handles the summer,
not sure about the colour which is called gun metal grey looks a bit dark compared to the light grey seats and glove box , i was thinking of doing them a lighter grey which they sell called smoke . decisions decisions . If i go the lighter colour i will be able to buy matching grab handles and sun visors.
