Defender 110 - utility (UTE)

Hey guys

Thought I would ask here as I'm looking for some information on the defender 110 UTE back.

A few years ago you were able to buy a defender as a single cab UTE here in Australia. I really would like of of these trucks but I know there not officially sold any more here. I was reading a arrival on a car news site and it has a picture of the 110 UTE as a special order one.

Does anyone know if it is possible to get on of these ordered?

The 110 hi cap ute that you refer to in the article, I think was first registered around 07-08/07/2009. It is not registered under that rego number in NSW anymore.
As I understand it... You are out of luck trying to order in specially something like that, only option is if a dealer has ordered one, which would be highly unlikely.

There are some for sale in UK (army), new , so it is hard to bring it here....

The 110 HCPU was discontinued from the AU line up some time ago, along with most of the other variants.

The ex MOD ones are not 110 HCPU, there 110 pick ups.

You might find a second hand one, but not too many came over here.

Or you could get a Pre 1989 Import.

Or wait until the Defender is built in India, and see if they sell it here.
