Part of the beauty / allure of this race is the difficulty in having a car capable with a suitable tune over the 8000ft elevation. Having an electric car that has 100% torque at any one time at of the motor is a bit of a let down.

But the sound... seems like they have warning buzzers to let the spectator a vehicle is coming :(
