Raptor Console and Air Con?

Hi all, was about to order a Raptor console until I noticed that Raptor engineering state their console isnt suitable for vehicles with Air Con.
Has anyone fitted the Raptor to an Aircon Defender or modded the console/Aircon to fit?
Seems a bit short sighted to not have an AC option.
Any info appreciated.

It looks like Kanga1 ended up buying the raptor dash console, from his posts, it looks like he has aircon fitted as well.

I'm interested in whether it fitted up all right or he had to do some mods?

I found that thread and was hoping for something definitive too.
I've decided to just get one anyway based on the pics i've seen.
I need to fit something regardless and it will be easier to shave a bit from the bottom of the console than build my own.
so when its all done I'll be able to report back definitively.

Surely they are referring to NAS/early CSW spec aircon like the picture, rather than the under dash units. I can't see how they would interfere.
