How long are your wiper blades?

Hi

I noticed on the weekend that my wiper blades seem to be a bit long. The drivers side on rides up onto the windscreen finisher at the top which of course lifts it off the screen at that point !

I measured mine and they are 22" or about 55 cm. It looks to me like they have been replaced at some point with the wrong blade holder.

So if someone could measure theirs it would appreciate it

Thanks mate, that makes sense because the overlap at the top is around 5 mm

They don't hit the finishing strip. They clear it by 40mm.

Check that you have the correct arm on the correct spindle. If I recall correctly, that makes a difference.

Looks like they may be a different length arm then. I'll measure my wiper arms a little later on

Steve changed mine a month back and are 560mm.

It looks like Ron is on the money (again) :D

Drivers side arm is 570mm Passengers side is 525mm (approx)

I'll swap them over tomorrow and see how they look
