Was looking for an older RR, but now I'm thinking to go full fat and get a late model L322 3.6TDV8...anything south of $75k
I'd really like some advice on what to look out for and any possible dealer updates/recall items that I should ensure are done, or get done if I buy one.
( Will be selling my Audi S3 8V sedan to finance this :) )

Very nice.
I just picked up a 2010 luxury TDV8 in that price range with 70k Km's on it.
Get the vin number from any cars you're looking at and enter it into Landrover Topix online.
It will tell you of any outstanding items that have been recalled under their computer system or service bulletins.
Mine just popped up with a bulletin to change the front brake lines. I think there's a recall
I'll have to book it in to Trivett.
Things to check would be automatic transmission oil change done around 70k Km's.
Air compressor if it's been changed or had a repair kit done in it. If not it may need replacing soonish.
Get the front control arms and bushes checked for wear. Especially the lower arms.
See if you can get a full service history on the vehicle. I managed to and it seems to help piece together the history of the car.
I'm not a fan of cars that have done heavy towing.
Normally you can tell by a brake controller or screw holes where a brake controller was.
Also a tow ball and electrics are a give away as they didn't just come with them standard like a Disco 4.

A 2010 with 70k km would be awesome.
Have seen two 2008's with one owner full service on carsales. Thanks for the heads up on items to look into and for the Topix Suggestion.
I'm same as you...tow balls and brake controllers will be a no no for me.
I'm in Canberra but I won't mind heading to QLD, NSW, VIC to get the right car.
What other online sources of late RR TDV8s for sale do you know of?
Cheers

I had a search saved on car sales and anytime a new car went online it emailed me.
