Hi All,
I am restoring a 1960 Series II - and I believe that I have a standard radiator (which I have had re-cored).
Today whilst attempting to fit the shroud - I came across a problem.
I think that I have the incorrect shroud for my radiator.
My shroud has one "flat" side (on the passengers side) - that the 5 x screws go through and screw into the back of the radiator.
However on the other side (the drivers side/battery box side) of the shroud - there is a 90 degree bend at the edge of the shroud, which means that the screws would need to screw into the side of the radiator support panel (instead of the back).
Which is completely different to the passenger side. Looking at the actual radiator - I believe that both sides of the shroud need to be "flat". This is based on the fact that the radiator (on both sides) has the 5 x screw holes on the back of the radiator, not on the side..
Here is the Passenger side of the shroud:

Here is the Drivers side of the shroud - note the 90 degree bend:

Not only do I have an issue with the drivers side 90 degree bend on the shroud - which I think should be flat (0 degree). BUT the shroud appears to need to be off-set - as I could not reinstall the fan blades...
So the questions that I have are:
* Have I got the wrong fan shroud (eg - from a different Series vehicle) ?
* Can I get the correct shroud ?
Series II, 1960, 2.25 4cyl standard engine...
Any help is greatly appreciated!!!
Cheers,
The Grey Ghost
