There was a thread a while back about the above mentioned program. Someone here had their Deefer on the program.
There is a Noice shiny red-ish one on tonight.

It was me:

I hired my S2a (DeeDee) out to a film company quite some time ago and then hired out my D90 some months later. They were used for two episodes of series 3 of the documentary series "Who's been sleeping in my house?" on ABC.

Today I received an email from the production company to tell me the series is to air soon:cool:. The two episodes from WA are on 27 August and 3 September at 8pm - not sure which one is the D90 and which is the S2a. A while to wait but I'll post up a reminder closer to the time. The Landy's feature throughout as the host narrates as he drives doing research on the houses featured in the episode. (Usually quite an interesting story to the houses).
I posted it in the "Landy Videos" section, but probably better here.
The two episodes with my two Landys are next week Thursday night and the following week - the two Perth episodes. I'm looking forward to seeing them:cool:.

This week's episode (near Bundy) had a red 110 which belongs to the host IIRC. Good viewing, looking forward to "yours" JB. :)

Sorry about that. When you only type with 2 fingers like me, I tend to look for alternatives without breaking into "SMS speak".

What an awesome episode.
The history of the house was excellent. RAAF and Freemasons.
The Landy, (DeeDee?) looked brilliant.
Very nice. :)

Yeah, that was a great episode:cool:. Really cool how they got the old ladies together that worked there during the war. I learnt a few things too.

I might have to put the dash fan back in so DeeDee is recognisable as a film star inside;). The effect of the reflections while they filmed the host driving was interesting/artistic, but probably simply a consequence of not being able to wind the window down so the exterior mounted camera could be used to film him from further away to avoid wide-angle distortion:D. Got to love the Series sliding half windows:angel:.

They made me take them off on the Defender in next weeks episode. (They did pay for replacements, so all good).

Sweeet:cool:. Managed to record both episodes on the IQ box so can burn to DVD. A nice record to stay with the cars. In 50 or so years both will have collector value??;)

:D Google is your friend:D
The host always drives a Land Rover in every episode and I've twice hired out my cars to the production company for his use. Each week he researches the ownership history of a house. Sometimes it's quite a colourful history and sometimes its quite a challenge for him to trace the history. He's an archaeologist so makes a fair fist of tracing things back and uncovering the story. I've found every episode I've watched quite interesting, but maybe I'm easy to please - just put some footage of various models of Land Rover in:D.
