Can anybody tell me if there is a power circuit up in the foof console for the sunroof. I don't have a sunroof in mine but I wish to fit a blackview in car camera and I need to pick up a live and a accessory circuit.
Thanks Pete

Yes there is wiring in the roof above the rear view mirror.

It is a heavy duty circuit but is only acc on, not live at all times. There is an earth also naturally.
You may be able to reach in and forward if you remove the small panel that is behind the rear view mirror ( about 100MMx50MM and just clicks out) , but I had to remove the light etc AFAIR.
AFAIR it was well forward right up against the windscreen rubber.

I would expect you may find a constant power wire at the interior light.

I know the sunroof plug has been used for UHF installs and has been mentioned in other threads.
I seem to recall you may need to tell the BCU that the sunroof is fitted to use the wires.
Maybe someone in the know can conform one way or the other for us.

No the wires are live with Acc on and you don't have to tell the BCU.
I have powered a UHF and rear view screen and receiver from them.

My UHF is wired into the ACC feed up there, works nicely.
