Congrats to you DVV.
I don't know what the HQVHW/350HB is about. Sorry.
POV pack could refer to Point of View, but it doesn't. :)
Around here it means "Poverty Pack" i.e. No options or added accessories.
I hope you enjoy your car.

thanks all my car doesnt have roof rack as a standard option. the dealer is charging me 580 to supply and install a half rack.
Wondering if he is giving a LR part or after market. I just sent him a note.to confirm.
Also read a post somewhere today there are no after market bull bars for 2015 D4's yet. Wondering if i should get one fitted from the dealer?

I don't think there are many who are happy with the previous editions of the Land Rover Bull Bar.
Very few are fitted as they are considered under strength, too close to the body work which can cause the damage they are supposed to prevent when it flexes and many think it doesn't "look the part"

Welcome. I think you will love it. And don't forget .... photos asap !
Regarding roof racks (and the roof rails they fit to), there are lots of types and sizes of rack plus associated options for rails and many good posts on the forum.
I would not rush this one. Have a look around physically and on here to see what suits your needs best. Seems to me that most people have brands other than the LR version;), myself included.
Cheers,
Scott

The dealer fitted front and rear roof rails to mine for a bit more than you are paying. They were Rhino brand, not Land Rover as I thought they would be. When I bought some Rhino bars to fit the Land Rover tracks they didn't fit and I had to swap them for bars to fit the Rhino rails.

If you do want the LR style version consider fitting either an OEM one or a copy yourself. It's not hard as the holes etc are already there. Here's a link to a clip on how to do it from Powerfulukltd. I was going to do this myself before I bought my D4 in 2013 but the short rails and bars were included for wholesale so I didn't bother. There are a lot of clips for fitting a whole range of accessories from the same people. Have a browse for info purposes.:)

Yes, in my opinion it is butt ugly, but that's unimportant if you like it. However I have had a close up look at one and I also wouldn't buy it even if I liked the look of it for the reasons Fred mentioned. Very close to the bonnet and grill and it is alloy and thin and hollow, if you want it for real protection from Roos etc then not good enough.

Welcome to the club DVV, great choice of vehicle.

POV Pack is short for Poverty Pack(ie) base model, a lot buy this model, then ask for the Land Rover accessories they want as a pack, we did it this way.

The dealer bar is not real strong, plus it looks like the D4 got slapped with an ugly stick.
Opposite Lock have a 2015 bar,I have an earlyier OL bar on mine.

Welcome to the Permagrin club...
Personally I wouldn't buy anything extra from the dealer...overpriced, plus the "benefit" of LCT.
Don't forget the pics! That car porn keeps the site alive!

After-market bulbar is available from Opposite Lock.
LandyAndy has one of their bars on his D4 and it looks the goods.
Personal preference only, but I'd steer well clear of the genuine Land Rover bar. I've seen a few of them around - don't like the look of them at all, and they definitely don't have the strength and clearance from the body panels that you'll find with the one from Opposite Lock.
I believe that ECB also has a bar available, but I'm not a fan of that one either. Don't like the look of it, and it is an alloy bar - I've had alloy bars before and since fitting a steel ARB bar to my D4, would never go back to alloy.

Hi Guys, Picking up the car tomorrow, need to clean the camera lens before I can post some car porn.
What do you guys think of below. Is this required...

Virtuosity High Gloss Paint Surface Coating: This treatment contains Titanium Dioxide and is applied to your car's duco before delivery and provides a permanent barrier against staining, fading, dulling or discolouration. It comes with a lifetime written warranty and guarantees that your paintwork will never stain from such circumstances as bird and bat droppings, tree sap, berry stains, bug splatter, grease, grime, acid rain, road tar, etc. It also guarantees that your duco will never fade, dull or discolour from such things as UV rays, pollutions, salt air, etc. You will also never get insect etching or pitting in your paintwork and it means you never have to wax or polish the vehicle.

Virtuosity Skin Deep Leather Preserver: This product is applied to all leather components of your car's interior. It provides a lifetime written warranty against any staining, fading, cracking or discolouration to your leather. There is also never any need to treat or moisturise your leather to prevent it from drying and cracking and to clean all that is needed is a wipe over with a damp cloth. If food or drinks, etc, are spilt, it is guaranteed that they will wipe off without staining. If the stain cannot be removed, we will organise to remove the stain and retreat the leather at no cost to you.

Virtuosity Fabric/Carpet Treatment: This product gives a lifetime written warranty against any staining, fading, or discolouration to all carpet and carpet mats in the vehicle and all the fabric in the boot area. It also makes vacuuming much easier by preventing dirt and grit penetrating into the pile. If food or drinks, etc, are spilt, it is guaranteed that they will wipe off without staining. If the stain cannot be removed, we will organise to remove the stain and retreat the carpet/fabric at no cost to you.

Virtuosity Vinyl Conditioner: This product is applied to all the vinyl components of your car's interior. It provides a lifetime written warranty against any staining, fading, cracking or discolouration to the vinyl. The conditioner is a low-sheen, non-greasy, non-slick treatment and provides a tough barrier against scuff marks and stains. This products will extend the life of the vinyl. To clean the vinyl, all that is need is a wipe over with a damp cloth.

The treatments provide for easy maintenance of your car. We recommend a light sponge hand wash is which required every few weeks and a light dust to the interior with microfiber cloth. If you chose to treat your car your car you may wash the car at a car wash as the Titanium Dioxide paint treatment will protect the car from the chemicals used in their water.

The individual costing for these products are as follows:

Virtuosity High Gloss Paint Surface Coating $1,695
Virtuosity Skin Deep Leather Preserver $1,295

None of the above!
Tint is much cheaper elsewhere.
The rest is an absolute waste of time.
Simple wash, wax and wipe on/wipe off leather treatment will see it perfect.

I can certainly recommend their "Wheelie Clean" product. The first time I tried it my front wheels rims were virtually black. Used Wheelie Clean as per their instructions and the rims came up far better than anytime since I bought the car. They were quite literally sparking :p Their tyre cleaner/shine isn't half bad either.

Congratulations on the new ride! I'm guessing you bought the vehicle from Trivett, we got the same after sales pitch when we bought my wife's Evoque back in April. Needless to say we declined. Your money is better spent else where.

$5000 for all of the above is shame full.
The exterior won't need any special treatment if it's garaged most of the time. Some regular car cleaning products will keep it looking good.
If not, then quality car cleaning products (not armorall wash n wax from SC) with 3-6 monthly spray on wax treatment will keep the paint work in good condition. I'm not knocking wash & wax products like armorall. They are ok if car is protected. But they don't provide as much protection as other products like proper wax for cars kept outside like mine.
Buy some mats, and give the leather and interior a regular wipe over with wipes and apply some leather conditioner every 6 mths or so and it too will look great for years.
