Couple of quick questions

Hi all,
Just wondering (as I have not seen any) Do Aussie Range Rover P38's get the genuine roof rails and cross bars like the UK versions do? are they uncommon? anyone have a set for sale LOL

Also

on the 2001 models there was a bright chrome like insert available for the rub strips and Bumper (HSE got it on the rub strips along the sides but not on the bumper - but apparently some European models and the limited edition Linley got it all round)
Anyone know if this might still be available or where to start looking??

I've got a set of roof rails on mine. They've never been a standard fitment. Dealer fitted option as far as I'm aware. They're around on ebay. Got mine out of the UK and had them cleaned and powder coated.

I have the OEM cross rails to match the roof rails but don't use them. I tend to use the rhino rails and a rhino rack instead. But it gets a tad high. A permanent low slung tray would be better.

My 95 model doesn't have them. It was a private import from the UK in 2001.

Hi Keithey,
Does yours have the chrome inserts in the side door protection strips? from what I have read it should - but it will definitely not have the continuing chrome accent through into the front bumper - that is reserved (apparently) for the Linley and a couple of other European limited editions (still tracking exactly which ones)

The roof rails and crossbars are a fairly common UK item but have not spotted ANY in Aus, thus the question basically to see if anyone has them- I might have to import a set (as Davidsonsm has done)

No chrome striping on mine at all! If one of the previous owners has removed it, I'm unsure, but there is no sign that there ever was any!
